Well Pops
Did you get trouble code P0521, 522, 523 or 524?
If it runs with no knocks then it has to electrical issue
Has to have oil pressure or engine would have seized by now
BTW if engine actually has no oil pressure I am pretty sure PCM would shut down engine
have you looked to if see you might have accidentally loosened the connector for the oil pressure solenoid when you installed the CAC?
It is to the right of the harmonic balancer (passenger side)
How about the EOP sensor connector directly above the oil filter?

That's what I mean, if the gauge in dash was representative of true pressure, I'm certain there would have been parts not moving.
Oh yeah, lots of crap, like the thing was possessed

That P0521 is 9/10 times an electrical issue

The P0365 as well would definitely lead me to be doing a visual inspection of the harness, lots of wiggle tests of connectors etc. Given the work you have done might be no bad idea to reexamine all the electrics around the areas you worked on, connectors not seated, cables rubbing against components etc etc

I'm not saying that is a bad idea, but I'm certain the only connector I ever had a problem with is the one going to the EBOV. That said, I can't see it being related, or it would have manifested itself the day of Garrett install.

Little too late to go back and check this or that, it's at a dealership service department.

Fair enough, we'll all wait with bated breath for a definitive answer.

The EBOV may use the same power or ground circuits as the Oil Pressure & other sensors that are setting codes
don't have easy access to wiring diagrams
Maybe someone else does

I'm totally impressed with the service department thus far.

No courtesy call, all day. I called at 3pm was told Judy Bloom is assigned, she's with a customer, she'll call you back.
4:40pm apparently "right back" must be code for next week.

Aren’t Dealer Service Departments a joy?

Alright, I need to get this out there...it annoys me when folks start threads about problems, they have first hand experience with, only to almost immediately go AWOL.

I can not go into too many details as of this moment, but I would like to provide everyone - who might be curious - of the current state of progress or lack thereof.

It was made painfully obvious to me, regardless of whether my claim merits warranty, this dealership (I did not buy from, that one is ~125 miles away), is inclined to make bold claims, as well as some outright libelled statements concerning my ability to properly read a dipstick, choose the correct oil filter/oil viscosity and many many more slanderous "observations".

Unfortunately I will not be participating much here in this thread, until there is a resolution. Once there is, I'll be more than happy to share as much of the details as I will be legally allowed.

Right now, what was my sole issue of importance, is not just with Ford, now includes the dealer's employees, including the Advisor and how they choose to conduct business.

In all fairness this could be nothing more than a minor problem.

All the documentation I was presented with indicates zero use of diagnostic computer, simply a visual inspection was done, with the outcome being the claim of being a quart short of oil, AND the wrong weight oil used, as well as the fresh Synthetic oil I poured in, was pitch black, and contained metal matter. Codes were ever sought. I was completely forthwith concerning components I changed ahead of their "actual service". At no point that I am aware, did they check the oil pressure switch, any wiring, or the actual pressure with a proper gauge...
The idea is the engine is simply damaged period, due to the circumstancial evidence, including some knocking present.
