I noticed on the Ford website that the specs for the 2019 seem to have slightly larger fuel capacities listed than the 2018's did. 2018 models were either 23.3 or 28.3 gallons depending on short or long wheelbase versions. 2019 models list 25 or 30 gallon capacities. Do we really think they increased the size of the fuel tanks by 1.7 gallons for 2019 or did the 2018 models have a 1.7 gallon reserve capacity that wasn't included in the posted figures?

I noticed the same thing. But I think I looked in the manual and they were the same. It would be nice if they did make it bigger as that was one of the main reasons I passed on the ‘18 and bought a used ‘17

I do wish the tank is larger, but my 18 destroys the range of my 09 nav which had the 28 gal tank. A 28 gal tank on my current expy would be fantastic.

I can go 500+ miles on a full tank in my Platinum MAX with solely highway driving. I can't imagine needing a bigger tank unless you're driving cargo cross country.

I have a 36 gallon tank in my F150 and I love it. I can go several weeks without filling up. As much as I try to tell the wife she can’t stop to go pee until it is empty on cross country drives, she won’t do it! 23 gallons seems tiny.

450-500 miles of range on a road trip from my 23 gallon tank is longer than my bladder can hold out, so works OK to fill up then. In a normal week, I end up filling up about once a week after my commute and various errands, so I can live with that, but more fuel capacity would always be nice! I know some companies make aux fuel tanks for the Land Cruiser that mount above the spare tire, or completely replace the location of the spare tire if the tire can be mounted on the rear bumper.

23 gallon bladder doesn't sound tiny to me
