really just shop around... fourwheelparts.com is my favorite because they will usually work with ya if you call them and they will price match too... but then again I have also seen good deals for BL and spacer lifts on ebay from 4x4 shops...

the body lift is a Performance Acc which IMO is the best one to buy... just look around for the best price... the new keys you really don't need if you just crank the torsion bar bolts... and for coil spacers just look on ebay the no name kits do the same thing as name brand last just as long and are more than half the cost...

okay so the three links you provided consist of every thing i need, right?

the body lift, the leveling kit, and the spacers come with everything needed for installation, no other purchases are required, right?

just trying to verify, don't want to be stalled when it comes time to install this stuff.

well first one had the keys for the front.... most of the time people cant get out torsion bars to replace the keys so IMO I wouldn't get new keys... just crank up the torsion bars...

The PA BL kits come with everything you need to install with great instructions and their customer service is great even if you don't order from them...

The last one is just the spacer for the rear coils... the ebay ones work exactly like the expensive ones... they just sit on top of the coil under the frame... KWT2000 and LANE24 have ordered their spacers from ebay and installed them... PM them and see if they have the sellers name and order from them...

alright thanks, so do you recommend switching out the OEM shocks?

i've only got 58K miles on my expy, but wouldn't mind any extra flex and a smoother ride.

I actually found a local mechanic that said he can install the body lift and leveling kit for 225 dollars..

what do you guys think?

$225. Wow, did you tell him it was for a 6000lb Expedition? I was quoted anywhere from $700 - $1200. I'd say go for it if he's legit. It's a 10 hour job. Most places around here charge $70 an hour for custom labor, and the 4x4 specialty shop was going to charge $120 an hour.

lol, yeah he's legit. only thing is he said he's never done it before.

(this isn't a shop, this is just a retired mechanic with 15+ years experience working with vehicles)

but he said it seems simple enough for him to do. (sent him the links)

BUT, i did find someone else, pretty cool dude, about my age. he said he has lots of experience with doing lifts and such. he said he did his own on his F150.

he said he'd call me back tomorrow with a quote.

seems good enough for me as long as he quotes me under 400 bucks.

i don't mind chillin in his garage havin' a couple beers and learning stuff... lmao

thanks again, and yeah you're tire looks really good! as well as your wheels.

i should be able to fit 315/75/16's without a problem right?

one more question,

can you direct me towards the right shocks i need? best price as well as quality would be best.

also, to buy from ebay... do you need to have paypal? or can you just use a card?

i really hate ebay so this is gonna be my first purchase from there.

and also what size rim do i need for this tire?

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/d...c=38600&counter=3&ar=75&rd=16&sw=false&cs=315

ha, i'm so sorry for all the questions guys, i just really need to be sure about all this stuff before i make any purchases... i don't have that kind of money to be throwing out mistakes.

http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/wh...bmitProductSize.do?r=NCRINT|pc|27539&pc=61024

i like this wheel style.

do you know any other ones with the chrome lip and the black face?

send links if possible.
