I love the 360 degree camera for help parking such a large vehicle but I hate that the video can't be recorded so I wouldn't need an aftermarket dash cam.

Challenge accepted. :D:D

:joke:

They do sound good with dual exhaust but a turbo v6 will NEVER sound like an American V8. I don't really care about that, I haven't cared about loud trucks for a while now and like how quiet the expedition is. There is something nice about the V8 rumble though, can't fault you there!

One thing I dislike is the blind side warning, the little yellow dot is too small, it should light up the graphic like some others especially when it's blinking and you're about to get hit, plus a beeping would be nice.

I've been trying to think of something that really bothers me, and this is it. I saw someone on the F-150 board added an LED to the interior door trim that turns on when there is a car in the blind spot. I would like an audio warning if you turn on your blinker and there is someone in the blind spot. It would be a nice secondary warning.

Just took a road trip to Austin and love driving this thing. Love the quiet cabin for such a large sturdy vehicle. Hate not being able to adjust the brightness of the sync 3 screen in the day time.

I love the Navigator 30 way seats. I dislike that the rear climate control cannot be synced with the front climate control. Very easy to have this as an optional setting, but Ford didn't. I also thing the factory should offer 3rd row floor mats (standard at this price, but at least optional).

I really like driving it. Each driving mode does it's thing really well... I'd like a mode where it goes through each gear that isn't sport, but, I've noticed when I'm using ACC it does when resuming from a stop, regardless of mode. Strange I can't make it happen with my foot!

I dislike that most settings don't stay as last set. I was in eco or sport (and 2H), leave it there. I shut off Auto start stop, leave it off. I want running boards out, leave them out.
1st world problems!

For everyone griping about the filth on the rear, get your top coat routine going and sacrifice one of those California dusters!

I believe there is an option for the running boards (at least there is on the Navigator). The Eco/Sport settings don't stay because they would reduce the EPA mileage. Auto Stop/start can be held by an aftermarket device that isn't too expensive and easy to install.

I love the lane keeper option. Came from a small suv, I need it to stay in the lane. When I first got it, I kept driving too close to semi trucks or big vehicles in another lane. I hate the foot trunk sensor. It does not work most of the time except when I go to self carwash, the trunk keeps opening.

A fine point, yes. I just want them to stay out. Mine auto retract when underway. Probably a good thing, except when it's iced over and won't deploy.

I like it for what it is. A large SUV, but I'm getting annoyed at the Windshield washer fluid leak at the front camera cleaner. Had it replaced once and was good for a week till now....seriously?

Love just about everything about it. Spacious (Max...at 6'4" I can actually comfortably sit anywhere in it, which is RARE), plush (Platinum), powerful & quick, just enough technology. There are 3 things that I don't necessarily like. One is the interior...I know, I even just said it was plush. It just isn't quite as nice as the Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit I had. Wood steering wheel, a lot more wood trim, felt lined glove box and center console, satin finishes, more leather on the dash and doors, etc. The "extras" like that brought the Jeep up a notch. And this was a 2011 model...the new Summit's are downright opulent and made mine look like a pile! Also don't like the sound of a V6. Again my Jeep had the 5.7 Hemi and I put a Corsa exhaust on it...man was that thing SWEET sounding! Nice rumble at idle, just a little snarl if you weren't on the gas hard, but what a unique sound at WOT. Last is the transmission programming. Below 6th gear between the torque converter locking up at lower RPM and the skip shifting it's a cranky, clunky mess(IMO). I find myself driving it differently to minimize the traits I don't like. I am going to look into a tune from 5* long term to alleviate this I think.

Wood steering wheel!? 1998 called, it wants it’s steering wheel back!

(I’m giving you a hard time, please take no offense. I just find wood steering wheels to be on par with Landau tops and opera windows on cars. But I know many like them so perhaps I’m in the minority.)

I love everything except the stupid weak power running boards!!! Stick all the time most annoying thing!!! Looking at raptor style as a replacement when I’ve had enough... which is getting close!

There is lots to like on my 2017 King Ranch, especially the responsiveness of the turbo charged engine. Pulls my travel trailer competently at highway speeds.

What I don’t like is that my daughters 2017 Titanium Escape has features my Expy does not. For example, her back-up camera has a much superior image and she has the guides that bend when backing up to show steering path. There are more things but I suspect the reason is that that more Escapes are sold than expeditions and their product line management puts the newest stuff in the higher volume (or margin) cars.

Used Ready Lift 3/2 kit, used adjustable links for setting the the CCD ride sensors back to spec location, 33 12.5 20in Nitto Grapplers. 20 inch rims, I did trim the front part of running board (very easy with chopsaw) also just pulled the front edge of the inner fender felt toward the front just a touch so there will be no rub at all. Turns full with no issue or rub at all and rides very good not much difference. No one that has ridden in it has mentioned anything about the ride other than its taller... meaning little to no diff. Its about 2.75 inch higher in front and about 1.75 in rear and add 1 inch to frin and rear for the tire size (3.75 front and 2.75 rear total). I have never lifted a vehicle before. So I was a newby... wasnt hard I just was methodical. Two person job me and brother his 1st too. No one would do it because of the CCD. Had it blacked out with shrink vinyl and the front grill was Plasti dip all of which will come off so it will remain pristine if I take it off to sell. I researched everything prior so was very prepared. Love it now!!!!!
