I have the same issue on my 2016 expedition, AC wouldn’t blow. Found a video on you tube that directed me to a wire harness connection under right side of glove box, barely touched the wires and the AC started blowing immediately, still have to push on wire harness occasionally to get air to blow again

I had this issue and replaced the wire harness as mentioned in the 1st thread above in about 20 min and it works perfectly.

Amazon says the WPT 688 harness doesn’t match my 2016 XLT expedition however the YH 1829 does match. Anyone use this combo?

The wpt 688 is what i ordered on amazon for my 2016 xlt 2wd. Quick glance looks like the YH 1829 is the resistor and I did not replace that. I only cut off the old wire harness and crimped the new one on.

Thanks JohnD, I have 3 heavy gauge wires and 1 very thin gauge in my connector, did you have that set up?
