CD player slot...?

Am I crazy or was there a CD player offered only in 18 as an option? I could swear I have seen some navigators with it, but now can't seem to find any pictures to back this up. I believe it was mounted under the arm rest on the front wall. Am I hallucinating? Has anyone seen what is behind the liner? Starting to see where I could possibly mount radios...

Yes, Navigator CD came only with the Revel stereo upgrade and the player is inside the center console.

All 2018 Expis came with it. They pulled it out starting with the ‘19s.

Op has a nav, i believe its still available with the revel 2 opt but that may not not be the case.

Sorry for not wording it better in the op. I meant on the front wall of the center console. Im pretty sure both models lost the option in 19. It's definitely not there in my '20. Guess it's time to go digging...

Seriously, a couple of my early cars (they were old when I got them) had AM and one crappy speaker. Fast forward to current time and you get 21 speakers or more. There are more speakers in my Navigator than I have in my entire house.

I'm pretty sure I read a thread where somebody had actually removed the dash and found out that the CD player was actually still installed. I think it even had pictures that showed it was back there, just not connected and hidden.

You are correct! Last I remember they were going to stick a cd in it and report back but I can’t remember what ended up happening.

Interesting... I wonder if the USB/input needed to be used for something else? So strange...

My interior guy is busy at the moment, will hopefully be able to get to it in a week or two. Have a few projects I'll need help with...
