The worry of not fitting into the new Bronco is kind of funny when you see actual pictures of it. There is plenty of room unless you can't fit into a Fiat Wrangler. More pics from this article:

There you go making sense again. Stop it! Haha! Every time I look at it I like it more. Doesn’t fit my current need for a vehicle, but it looks good!

I dont think this holds water. The outside of a vehicle has not much to do with comfortable space for a tall driver. I've ridden in the back of a Mini Cooper and been comfortable. One of the more spacious vehicles I ever owned was a 1992 BMW 318. No, I cant fit in a Jeep Wrangler. I'm handy getting things off the top shelf in the kitchen.

Not really a fan. I think they focused too much on competing with Jeep instead of coming up with an original design. I don't think this pays homage to the first gen. To me it looks like an fj cruiser mated with a land Rover. I also think it's an insult to call it a full size when it's built on a ranger frame.
I will give some it credit tho, some of the features are cool and hopefully it performs off road like they claim... Until it's been out a while and I can meet it in person I'll stick with my 82 Bronco img_1572920161775.jpg

Wow

I picked my new Expedition yesterday and while they were filling out the paper work, washing, and gassing up the new ride I asked if they'd been ordering the new 2021 F150's and the sales manager just moaned. He said yes, but all the dealers are super pissed at Ford about the Bronco. He said they can build a max of 150,000 units a year and Ford had pre-sold in excess of 180,000 new Bronco's. He said he'd spent the morning filling out order requests from Tennessee as those buyers had been assigned to him from Ford Corporate. This Dealership is in Stillwater, OKLAHOMA! (Bill Knight Ford) He then told us that if they wanted to order a Bronco to put on their lot as inventory not to expect it until early 2023. Freaking EARLY 2023. He also said when/if a local, loyal customer that he's done business for years wants a Bronco he has to tell them NO, He can't order one until all the pre-solds are all allocated (through Ford Corporate).

They (Oklahoma Dealer group) were on a conference call with Ford a couple of days ago begging them for some inventory for local orders and were flat told NO, they would be assigned orders from the pre-sales in the order they were accepted via computer on the reveal date.

His last concern was that by the end of the year most of the dealerships would be out of inventory, especially with the new F150's being covid delayed, the Mustang Mach E paperwork is just now getting started, and them not being able to get Bronco's. He said things were already starting to tighten up.

Eh,
With the low price to preorder I'm willing to bet a lot of those people will change their mind/not be able to afford it by the time it comes in. We can thank Tesla that uses preorders to secure funding for these prebuy frenzies.... Though Ford setting the reserve price at $100 was idiotic.

Hey, I bought my Expedition from Bill Knight in Stillwater. Did everything through text message and they delivered to me in Wichita. Got a hell of a deal as well.

Anyway regarding the Bronco they are missing the point that all those reservations are "sold" in Ford's eye, at least once they are converted to orders. If a dealer wants some for local customers those customers need to get on board and reserve one, but it is likely to late for the 1st model year.

I have read that people are allowed to change dealers on all but the first edition trim. Not sure what they are really complaining about, they likely would not have gotten anymore than what is already "sold" anyway. So it comes down to the people that are buying selected the dealers. Some will get a lot more than others.

I got the feeling they were just mad they couldn’t service their local guys. I live in Edmond but Stillwater still services a fairly rural Community and some of those guys are fairly still non computer comfortable.

Was someone saying they would not sell or be popular?
