I have a 2021 Expedition Max. When talking on the phone via Bluetooth, the sounds sporadically goes "robotic" and I have to turn the Bluetooth off. The dealer has replaced the ASIM and ran updates yet it continues to happen. My IPhone 11 even broke and I replaced it with a 13 and it continues to happen. sometimes the touchscreen doesn't respond either (ie I ended a call on my phone but it wouldn't end on the screen. I was able to use the phone, with Bluetooth off, but the screen continues to show my previous call and was "frozen" until I turned the car off). It's been to the dealer 6x and today they suggested I buy a new phone - except my phone is new. Any ideas/thoughts?

My wife’s I phone 12 does this in several model cars we have from different manufacturers and sometimes locks them up like that as well. We have Sprint service and only have it with her phone and that carrier.

I’ll second what BMW said. My dad has a 2016 F350 with same issue and sometimes when he uses BT to make calls he sounds robotic on my end. He’s got an iphone13 pro and Verizon.
