You do realize your platinum was 400HP uptuned Standard Motor, and your Timberline is the HO 440HP variant right. So obviously with 40HP difference it is going to be quicker. Not to mention, most Timberlines are lighter.

Did the chrome deletion on my Timberline (Dark Matter Metallic) last night. I used to wrap promotional vehicles many many years ago - still took me about 5 hours.
@Lou Hamilton I went with these Pro Comp lug nuts- found 'em locally at an off-roading shop in Phoenix.
I'll post some better pics once I get the black lug nuts installed and give her a bath.
I have to admit, the Timberlines look SO much better without the Chrome!

I think the white hides the Chrome nicely. I agree that on the darker models, the chrome can be a distraction from the beauty of the vehicle as a whole.

I agree unless you move forward with the C pillar wrap in gloss black - at that point you should just go for full chrome deletion IMO.

3M 2080 wrap film - gloss black. You can buy it on Amazon. I bought two 25’x2” rolls, barely used the second roll, but one roll is not quite enough.

Here's some better pics showing the chrome deletion now that she's had a bath... The Dark Matter metallic really sparkles in direct sunlight!

@Lou Hamilton, do you find your +12 off set to kick up a lot of dirt or mud onto the vehicle? Looking for a set of winter tires for our timberline and trying to find some aftermarket wheels that will fit but not kick up much onto the vehicle or running boards.
