Hoping someone has actual, hands on validation of this question. I've watched at least three YouTube videos for Sync 4 (12" screen) where personal profiles appear to be part of the settings menu, but the order guide only calls out personal profiles if you upgrade to Sync 4A (15" screen). I have also watched a couple videos where I could not tell if PP were present in the settings menu. Was this an early feature that is no longer included in Sync 4? Any current information would be greatly appreciated!

The vehicle isnt out yet so it would probably be better to ask this question in an f150 or mach e forum as those owners would have the experience you're asking about. There maybe ppl here who own one already here, but not too much.

Using my head canon, sync 4 in the lower trims is a slightly decontented version of 4a, which is a fully loaded version of what's been released and specifically for the vertical screen. The only real difference outside of profiles I see is that 4a handles more hvac controls. Lincoln doesn't call it 4a, but theirs is outfitted with same features as 4a, just on a smaller screen according to order guides.

Need a 2021 F150 Owner, well I guess it is your lucky day!

Yes, atleast on the the 2021 Job2 F150's with the 12Inch screen, Profiles are a thing. It can be tied to a key, just like mirror and seat settings were before. Let's you even set favorites in SiriusXM specific to your profile.

The 12in screen doesn't have the feature, you need the 15in screen to get the profiles.

No profiles in the expedition. Regardless of screen
Is yours a kr or platinum, because the order guide states it as a feature.

I have SPP with Sync 4a, but they also pulled it from KR and Plat as well. The original order guide had it printed and I couldn't find it either. But if you search the owners manual it's been removed entirely.

I hadn't bothered to check for profiles on the Sync 4 screen, but keep in mind that driver numbers associated with the button on the door or the keyfob that you've matched still apply, and most of the settings in the Sync 4 screen apply. This screwed me up yesterday when I forced the running boards to stay deployed in order to go through the carwash. Except, I applied my driver number after making the change, so, of course, my running boards were in auto during the carwash, and didn't get cleaned.

I never actually use the feature of my Mach E, but I think the same thing applies. I just hit the door button to switch to my profile after my wife uses the car. I think PaaK is supposed to do this automatically, though, so maybe that's broken.

On the expedition the door number recalls the seat and wheel settings. Not the sync 4 settings.
I.e. my wife is #2, if she presses it my radio presets are still there.

I didn't check the radio presets, but it definitely affected my running board deployment. I'll see what other settings (temperature units, etc.) change. Time. I need time. ;-)

Let me know if the running board deployment is consistent bc I found mine have a mind of their own at times.
