2023 Ordering Timeline Thread

So now I have to make a decision - there are 3 2022 Limited Stealths with all the options I ordered on their way to dealers within 120 miles of my location, and my 2023 is "In Production". I think I am going to wait a little longer. Hopefully I will get this built in time.
How did you learn of this? When I use the tracking info with CSX I get current location but no estimated delivery.

I'm on the same boat, awaiting shipping. Estimated date from Ford is 25th. Hoping for the Xmas present too
I received another delay email for March 15 now. I picked up a 2022 with all the options I ordered a week ago.
Mine was built yesterday. Finally. It just seemed like forever - ordered in September (had to order twice from different dealers because after a week I still had not received the first confirming email from Ford about the first order). And it has been In Production status since late November, status date changed December 3. Waiting for delivery now.

I had been “In Production” since 12/4. I have not received any emails from Ford, but I check the tracker every day. This morning, it updated to:
In Production: 12/14/2022
Built: 12/14/2022
Now it’s awaiting shipment.
Edit: I just got this email from Ford:
We understand it has been too long since you last heard from us. Just wanted to give you an update on the status of your ExpeditionXLT order. While production of your vehicle was projected to begin the week of December 5, 2022, supply chain challenges continue to cause delays and uncertainty.
This is frustrating, we get it. We want nothing more than to get your Ford up on the line and start assembling it. And we will continue to work hard to reduce the delays to try to get you on the road in your new vehicle soon.
It’d be really nice if they figure out their communication.

Here’s some amusement. I actually have two of the same expeditions on order at the same time. One has a production date in January. The other I’m still waiting for update after confirmation of order from Ford. Both priority 10. My guess is it comes down to allocation

When did you order both? I actually have two also. Limited from 9/14 no build date nothing and then platinum 10/16 nothing also still.Here’s some amusement. Dealer has told me mine is within 200 miles passed Greenwood SC today but won't give me the rail car number that is on that same report... not real happy with them. But hopefully a few days to get to the dealer now although Friday through Monday are holidays for Christmas. Maybe early next week.

Crazy how I have nothing still. What is a priority 10 if you don’t mind me asking?
Thanks for that information. Got mine from them too, along with the information that the rail car had reached the destination yard (where it is being relocated onto a truck for the last 40 miles). So now I just have to wait for it to get to the dealer - maybe a couple more days?
