This is exactly what I’m looking at doing with my XLT. What brand and color wrap did you use? How much did it cost and how long did it take to do this if you don’t mine me asking?
Honestly I don’t know the name of it. I just asked for gloss black vinyl and this is what they ordered. I kind of think I could have done a better job myself but until I find an actual wrap company in my area this will have to do. It took them about 4 hours (apparently they ran into problems, it was only supposed to take about 1.5 hours). It cost $130 to do the front and back. Materials were about $80.

I bought two replacement ignition coils from 1Aauto to replace the stockers where the retaining tabs snapped off when I changed the spark plugs.

First drive afterward, and the engine soon started misfiring, flashing MIL. Got a P0302 code—one of the replaced coils.

Reused the old Ford coil for now, and ordered two new replacement, this time genuine Ford.

Oh—also replaced the factory lug nuts with one-piece nuts. None of the factory were bad yet, but we all know how they end up.

Today - We removed both turbos (because i hated the rattle), re-routed the exhaust to a custom fabricated 2.5" catted h-pipe and custom made a dual exhaust with 3" dual tips. We also installed a ford racing supercharger to account for the power we had lost from the turbo delete. getting it dyno tuned tomorrow. we expect about 500hp after getting the computer right.

What one piece nuts did you get? Can you post the link. Thanks
There a couple of threads about them. According to another member who called Gorilla the 61148FS is the correct replacement from them. I just bought a set from these guys in TX. They shipped same day and they are authorized Gorilla dealer. They also have them in black.

I did this on mine and it worked. I have no rattle at all now. Springs were about $5-6 for 2. Took me a while to figure out how to get to the turbos without having to lift the truck, or remove wheels. I ended up taking off the engine cover and went through the top of the engine bay. Took about 10 mins once I figured that out.

From my thread about Gorilla spline nuts not being the right fit:
On Amazon I found Zoffi black forged one-piece lug nuts. They claim to fit my vehicle (large acorn seat), and have a diagram with the proper measurements (incuding the proper 21mm hex size), and they were $43 for 24.

Wheels.....well, haven't decided if these are going on the Expy or the 5.0 yet, either way they are super light for 22s.

Might be adding a driveway mate to our 18 Max.
Currently on an extended test drive in a 20 Explorer Limited. Loaded outside of 4wd. We'll be back to a 2 Ford family.

Ordered a J&L catch can. Any tips on removing the PCV connectors? I'm more a VW guy, so Ford connectors are new to me--so much I ruined two good ignition coils removing the electrical connectors. And I don't want to break any more connections.

Finally got around to some quick simple mod Forscan changes on the Exped.
Bambi mode, ambient lighting to orange instead of blue prior to start, DRL to fogs instead of low beam.
Just realized I forgot double honk disable. Didn't immediately notice that one in the simple mode, but only really looked in the BCM.

I did get an error that some functionality may be limited. My OBD adapter is from 2016, but seems to have been able to write everything successfully.

Did anyone have a tip for @zak99b5 ? I'm going to be doing this too and am curious for tips before I get in there.
