Brake Rotors

hey guys,

newb here, i searched and couldn't find anything definitive. i have a 2002 Expy xlt, 5.4 4wd, im looking to get rotors for all 4 wheels. i keeping seeing some packages only fit production dated expy's from 3/02-2006. mine was built on 09/01, did they change specs on the rotors after that date?? i think they're all compatible, but i wanna make sure, could anybody provide me with any insight.

Not True! Different part numbers for different years.

The difference is some had 12mm studs and others had 14mm studs.

The Expeditions produced after 3/02 - 2006 are a 6 lug 6x135 instead of the 97-02 5 lug 5x135.

you might want to watch this video on rusted rotor removal. It might save you time and busted knuckles.
