Weird dome light & headlight reminder issues
2006 EB. Open drivers door dome lights come as usual. Start vehicle with door open dome lights shut off or open drivers door while running dome light flash on and shut off. Dome lights work as usual with 3 other doors and lift gate when running or not. Shut vehicle off leave key in ignition...- ACQB

Center cap FORD Logo
We went out the other night, someone "liberated" all 4 FORD logo emblems from our 06 EB. . I've been all over the web and contacted our local Ford dealership parts dept looking for these emblems/badges. No joy. Lots of stickers and decals, but need the backing to use those and they were curved...- ACQB

Power Window Dead 1/2 Way Down
Anyone ever chase a power window ghost? 2006 Expedition Eddie Bauer Rear passenger window went half way down and stopped. Rear wiper failure
Thank you for this heads up. This lead me directly to the issue with the rear wiper on our new to us, everything worked 2006 EB Edtn.... until the rear wiper stopped dead at the 12 o'clock position. 1st round is on me!!- ACQB

How to remove overhead console?
So what was the verdict? Were the screws hidden up there or not? Have a new to us 06 EB and I want to add some power outlets up there... Hate to start tugging and break something. Ive looked and explored a bit. Dont see any screws.... but, one never knows.- ACQB

Disconnect the negative on the battery before you start anything. There are two covers each side on the backside of the steering wheel, pop them off and there are 2 8mm bolts at an angle that hold the airbag.
