Don’t get this one Fit System 3891 Deluxe Universal... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001AJH1HK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
the Expy mirrors are too tall. Fits nicely on a friend’s Silverado tho.
I ordered the Motorcraft WW1614 off eBay for $15.68 total. 30 seconds to install. Push the button slide left, push the new on. Piece of cake.

It took a bit to find but take a look at the thread. My 2016 backup camera is also intermittent. Always fixed by opening and reclosing the rear window. Until slamming it stops fixing it...I’ll ignore it.

Take a look at the steps I listed. My Expy had the 4 pin. I removed the bracket holding the 4 pin and then I added a Curt 4 pin to 7 pin adapter that is a dual output. Meaning it...
@Michael McC What made you decide to replace the CCM instead of throwing other parts at it? Just curious cause I wouldn't have suspected a module - not that I know anything about cars. In addition, did you figure out on your own how to take apart the dash or did you find a YouTube video or how...
@LokiWolf It is entirely your fault that I spent $200 on a battery tonight. I went and picked up a Duralast Platinum. Now if the Expy was my daily driver I'd have waited until it died on me but this is the wife's. Plus, even after letting it charge all night, there was a definite lag to it...
I decided to hook up the OBDLink EX to the 2016 Expedition tonight. Increasing the number of blinks for the turn signal worked well so I went to the module where the PDF with notes by Lokiwolf, MCostin and ExpeditionAndy said hyperflash would be disabled.
BdyCM 726-13-01 & 726-14-01. Entering...
@Aspen03 That was very useful information. I searched it on Youtube and watched a guy tie into his two back speakers. It didn't look overly complex and much simpler than accessing the head unit. I miss not having any bass in my XLT.
It took me a day to recover from being PO'd at the OHP for not working. Now that I'm over it I spent more money and ordered the OBDLink EX. Cause it is always best to throw more money at a small problem:)
I'm going on a short trip so I set it to arrive next week. If it connects up as easily...
A couple years ago my 2016 XLT pulling a 3,000 lb trailer in 100 degree temps up hills, and crawling around hills hit 238 for the tranny temp. Last year I paid to have our mechanic install the Ford auxiliary tranny cooler. It doesn't have a lot of rows to it so I'm curious as to how it'll do...
I feel like such an idiot. Against my better judgment I ordered a top rated Forscan USB adapter off Amazon.
The PDF instructions being wrong was my first clue - they said there was an executable install file and that doesn't exist. Easy enough, I pointed each USB device in the Device Manager...
Take a look at the picture in my initial post. The incandescent bulbs were literally burning up the sockets. I wanted LEDs because they run cooler while producing the same or slightly higher level of brightness. Resistors generate heat which is what I was trying eliminate in the first place.
I added the LEDs to the rear turn signals. No hyperflash during the day. I just learned that they behave differently at night - hyperflash. Bummer.
Back to Amazon they will go and back in go the incandescent bulbs. Not worth anymore of my time.
My right rear turn signal died so I replaced them both with cheap incandescent bulbs. The housing were brown and blackened from too much heat. I’d like to replace them with LEDs but I don’t want to mess with splicing in a resistor if they throw an error or do the rapid blink.
I have a 2016 XLT...
My 2016 displayed a negative image and was fuzzy after a week of rain. I found another thread that recommended closing the hatch forcefully and spraying with canned air. Closing a few times fixed it. Lame design as there is an opening on the bottom of the camera. Doesn't rain much in SoCal...
I'm so glad I happened upon this thread. Our 206 has had problems with Sirius reception since we got it two years ago. Can't wait to take it in and have the signal loss in the middle of open sky go away.
If your front fan blows intermittently or just stops then is quite probably the resistor and wiring harness. On mine one of the pins was blackened as was the matching hole on the pigtail. Very easy fix since it only involved two 8 mm screws, clipping 4 wires and then splicing in the...
