    Fuel gauge issue

    2008 EL. Needle on the gauge is always showing the same 1/2 full tank... and has for the last year. The needle doesn't move. However, the Distance to Empty on the trip computer is accurate. What would cause the sender to show accurate DTE on the info screen but not send signal to the gauge?

    Looking under the hood today I noticed the vacuum line going to the fuel pressure regulator is split at the back near the firewall. Does anyone have the part number for this line? How difficult to replace?

    New problem: smoke from passenger side

    Seat interchange?

    My 2008 has 315k miles on it and the seat foam is completely shot, hard as a rock and completely flat. Looking online in appears that replacement foam for 07-08 is the same, but 10-15 is different and won’t cross reference. Also, it doesn’t appear there’s any aftermarket options for the 07/08...

    2008 EL, I'm assuming its still the 6r75 and not the 6r80... I have seen three different part numbers for the trans filter listed. Does anyone know the difference between the FT171 versus the FT188 filters? Are they interchangeable/successor pn, or are they different filters altogether?

    6r75 pan the same as 6r80?

    Wanting to switch to a transmission pan with built-in drain. Dorman makes a pan for the 6r80, but nothing listed for the 6r75. I think I read they are the same case and can share the same pan/gasket (only difference being internals), can anyone confirm?

    No washers, but wipers work

    When I press the washer stalk, I hear an audible click and the wipers do their thing, but nothing comes out of the jets front or rear. Is the fuse for the pump separate from the fuse for the wipers? Common issue? (Yes, it has fluid)

    Well, that explains a lot…. Get a carfax

    Just bought a 2008 EL King Ranch with only 100,000 miles! Or did I… Based on that timeline, this thing likely has 300-400k miles. It’s REMARKABLY solid given the mileage. Let this be a lesson to always get a carfax. ‍♂️
