6r75 pan the same as 6r80?

Wanting to switch to a transmission pan with built-in drain. Dorman makes a pan for the 6r80, but nothing listed for the 6r75.

I think I read they are the same case and can share the same pan/gasket (only difference being internals), can anyone confirm?

Yes. I'd go with a deep aluminum pan for the extra fluid capacity and drain plug.

$28 for a dorman pan vs $250 for the deep… I’ll do the $30 pan.
