Owned 08' till 250k, Drive 17' F-150 5.0 now, considering going to 17' used expo

Yep, stick with the F150 if you want to hold your value... We keep our expy around as our family wagon, but if we ever replace it we may jump ship to a GM product so the value will hold better!

Oh she's already amazed me, she hasn't ran out yet! HAHAHA. We moved really close to her work so she puts 10miles a day on it now a days... Which is good as I have a laundry list of fixes for both of these 200K+ mileage fords!!! LOL Ill check the voltage just in case, do you mean behind the panel?

    Misfire under load.

I am sorry, I am misreading your post... OK. If the coil swap made stuff worse, maybe buy one coil and plug and move it around until the issue resolves. I am certain its a coil or plug.

    Misfire under load.

Yes, get a wifi OBDII reader and download the OBD Fusion app or similar type app... Mine wouldn't throw CEL codes either but with the app you will be able to see the misfires on each cylinder. If it is a coil, get motorcraft. My mechanic put an off brand and it didn't fix it so I was puzzled...

Ive got 80K or more on Toyo AT 34" tires and still a bit of tread... LT 10ply E rated tire... Warrantied 65K but easily can get 80K! Not one patch or plug either! That's all I ever buy... Although I did snag a set of new raptor take offs with BFGs for the F150!

    Misfire under load.

YEP!!! I invested in the OBDII wifi reader and an app... We had the same misfire issue on ours.... Turned out to be #4 coil... Swapped it out and tuned it up and good to go!

Hey folks... 2009 Expy with fuel gauge not working any longer. Looking at the fuses before I order a pump/sending unit... Any other fuses to check in the cab or under the hood? I have checked 26 and 29 in the cab and 5, 44, 55, 61 under the hood. Any help appreciated! Thanks!

    “Check Brake System”

I have the same year and issue. Did you ever get yours fixed? I’m not finding any of the module repair places that repair ours. I think I will find a used one that works and use Forscan to program it to my suv... About as far as I have made it with this issue!

    High Mileage Maintenance Schedule

We are on our 2nd motor, first blew at 165k, had our mechanic find a low mileage motor to swap in. First 5.4 we had issues with out of many we have owned. I still use MC oil and filters every 5k miles. We have 210k on the 2009 expy and 185k on our 2010 5.4 F150. I’m about to change all fluids...

WOW! 2 cans and a full can in the vacuum??!?! I am shocked you didn't fowl the spark plug or O2 sensors!! I am sure it was cleaned out after that!!! My usual seafoaming consist of 1/2 bottle in the vacuum, 1/2 bottle in the crankcase and a full bottle in the tank 300-500 miles before an oil...

2 Issues - Need Help. A/C and Fuel Cap...

We have an 03 Expy and noticed on a long trip this weekend that the front A/C would nearly stop blowing air. The little it was blowing was cold. The rear air would work fine. Seems like everything is OK for an hour then it nearly stalls until we stop and turn the truck off for a bit. After...

    Many problems 2000 4.6L

On your running lean, look at that thread above and for other vacuum leaks. Take a look at your O2 sensors (more than likely not the problem, but can get awfully dirty and stuck lean. I had the same issue with a Jeep that ended up being a big glob of bad wiring. I went thru everything head to...
