Well today I drove my truck 30 miles to the local Autozone and the only thing that happened was the check engine light stayed on. Anyways here is the codes that came up:
P1233: Fuel system disabled, inertia switch tripped or open.
P0191: Fuel rail pressure sensor condition, power train...
I'd have to say I really don't know the answer to either of those. It was replaced just prior to me buying it. When I got her she had 48,000 miles, now she's at 52,000 miles.
OK just a quick update here. I let my truck cool down awhile and went back out to check if it still did the same thing, well this time it started, however this time it responded to the gas pedal being push in and was running a little rough, no where near how it was, the check engine light was...
This is regarding my 2006 expedition limited. Today after driving about 80 miles to and around town, I came home and unloaded. Shortly after wards the wife was about to head out in it, she started it and noticed that the check engine light stayed on and that the engine was idling rough and that...
Well went and had the alt checked and she's putting out 14 vlts and I had my battery checked (after driving twenty miles to the parts store) and turns out the battery was bad. So I went ahead and bought a new one... Thanks guys.
Seeings how I bought it used in January and there's no real way to determine if the battery has been or when it was last changed, I'll go ahead and get a new one.
Ok this morning I went out to start my 2006 Expedition and as I turned the key there was a click click, then a slow crank, then click click panel lights and head lights all dim. After several try's it started up and ran just fine. I drove to work and at lunch I went out and the something...
I remember putting in stereos in mine and a few of my friends vehicles back in the days, but this one seems like it would be a challenge for me to do. It would be my luck I'd brake something that can't be replaced without having to buy a new console.
I really don't care about watching Vids in my truck either. I really just want a system that would look nice and most of all sound great. I currently have a six disks CD changer hooked up to my OEM Nav/Radio and I don't want to carry around CD's anymore. So I'll need to find a way to store my...
I'd like to keep the steering controls also. One thing they've talked a lot about is having an iPhone to connect to the system. I have an android phone, I hope they have one (AVH-P8400BH) that I can use my phone on. I haven't given much thought to the back up camera.... Ok after doing some...
I just bought a 06 Expedition limited and I don't have any of the cd's for the OEM Nav. system, however I'm looking to replace the system with something that has Bluetooth/Radio/Nav and Aux connection. Can someone lead me to something that comes as close to what I'm looking for.
Thanks
I just bought a 2006 Expedition Limited and I have notice that when a dvd is inserted and is playing the sound is hard throughout the vehicle including the oem headphones. Is there a way where the dvd player can be played and say the cd player or the radio can be played/used at the sametime...
