In the last few days I've experienced some bazaar things. While driving on the freeway, I'll lose acceleration and the throttle won't respond. I'll end up flooring it and the engine will come back and respond. Then today while idling at a stoplight, my engine rumbled, hit check engine and shut...
I honestly think the issue is a super slow leaking head gasket. I've been replacing coils for ages and all the signs including busting a radiator, losing coolant, and what not. fixed the had gasket and nothing has happened since
Pretty sure it ended up being a blown head gasket. Ran a large bottle of blue devil sealant through the cooling system as per the directions. Been running great for the last 2 weeks. 242K and still chugging.
I'm having a weird issue. Over the last 2 years I've dealt with replacing a coil hear and there. Recently I replaced 1 and during the replace my mechanic told me I was missing a large amount of coolant. They filled it with water in the mean time to check for a leak.

I thought about going higher in temp, but I worried about smoking some of the coatings on the wires. Besides, 250 gets that headlight pretty hot to to touch. I wonder if 350 would have been easier.
I had smaller tires on their before and had dipped the wheels with the weights on it. Then...

Just dive into it! You can do it. I was hesitant at first, but the feeling of accomplishment is awesome!
I noticed that as well that the lower is part of the bumper cover. Don't the lowers come with mounting brackets that you have to drill though?
Foam to shoot arrows with!

very easy. There are two screws under the hood near the grill. Two under either fender and two near each fender well. Takes about 10 minutes to remove. Just look up a guide on how to install a grill and it'll tell you how to remove it. :signs1:
I'm going to Starr this as my build thread.
Bought a Still bullet grill new off Craig's for $40. Went through the install and quite the pain. Directions sucked. Eventually I figured out you have to use the original trim and bolt in the brackets to the frame of the car.
Next I'm going to dip...
Well the regulator in my expy went out a few weeks ago. Got a replacement from Advance Auto Parts for $78 with their coupons! Install went great only to have the motor from the passenger door just go out....dooooogh!
I still have clear packing tape on the window from when I put it up. Anyone...
