I would recommend a Garmin unit, it will solve all of your problems. Google Maps and the Ford NAV will be USA-centric so you will never really solve the problem using them.
I had the same issue as you. Couldn't get it to work no matter what I tried. I've read the Car2U is full of problems for Ford has switched back to HomeLink in later model years.
Then I had a shop install a HomeLink module, still wouldn't work. Then I bought one of those HomeLink adapters for...
I had the same issue, I heard it was a result of cellphone carriers using a similar frequency and running interference into the SiriusXM signal.
What I did to resolve it was listen to radio on the SiriusXM app on my phone (Much higher quality than direct satellite stream) and connect via...

I had a 1992 Subaru Legacy, decided to see how far I could go on one tank. Bad idea. Had to replace the fuel pump, which caused a wiring issue which shorted out two other replacement fuel pumps. Queue me being stranded many times in the next 6 months after my one-tank odyssey. In other words...
I took my first driving test in my 1992 Subaru Legacy 5psd, and when going down a hill I upshifted because I was driving the drive the DMV-way on the test. He wrote on my test sheet "Went downhill in neutral!!". The next test I took in an automatic and passed.
In March I flew to a suburb of San Francisco to buy my 2011 EL. I had $15,000 cash on me. I showed up at his house at 10pm, gave him the cash and he signed the title over to me. Easy as pie. I found the ad through Craiglist.
I wanted to get one with the gold on the bottom, with black or blue on top it looks amazing. I just didn't have the patience to wait! It looks so elegant with the two-tone paint job.
Thanks for all your help and information guys. I mentioned to the shop what someone said here about the high failure rates of the aftermarket blower motor resistor, so they installed an OEM resistor. It's working now! I turned it off and on during my drive home and it never cut out. The shop...
Hey everyone, I could use your help diagnosing intermittent A/C on my 2011 EL Limited (Automatic climate control with heated/cooled seats). It's getting hot here in Vegas right now and I've been to the shop multiple times but they haven't been able to fix it. These are the repairs for far...
Any tips for replacing the blade on Option 1 AKA "Factory - Snap On Style". I could not lift the arm up enough to replace the blade and did not want to break it, so I had to resort to letting the shop replace it.
Question for you Flexpedition. I bought the replacement wiring harness and had my shop install it, they replaced the connector but not the wires. Will this cause an issue in the future as the same (problematic) gauge wires are being used?
Thanks for the link to the TSB. I replaced the blower motor and blower motor resistor on my 2011, but still have intermittent HVAC. I bet this wiring harness would have solved it in the first place!
I remain extremely disappointed that Ford only offers a turbo-6 for the Expedition. I don't know what to do when my 2011 kicks the bucket.
I read somewhere the turbo in the EcoBoost is only supposed to last 150,000 miles/ten years! I shudder to think how much a twin-turbo 'servicing' costs.
