I have the same issue. Been looking into a ForScan solution with no luck. I have found info on how to change the coding language, but cannot figure out how the software works.
Found this from HavasuMike 5/5/2018
"Success!! For newbies like me, this is how I did it. This time, I did not use the "as built" BCM. I used the BCM without as built and everything came up in english. It said "daytime running lights" and "disabled". I just clicked on disabled and the options...
Thanks for the Replies. Apparently, I do not have DRL enabled on my vehicle. I tried putting it in drive with no luck.
I have ForScan, but am not that familiar. I checked the ForScan Forum and someone indicated I need to enable "Parklamps". Does anyone have the details on how this is done...
I guess not, but the part may be different. Motorcraft Parts online order will let you know.
I assume your control is not the dial, like the XLT has. However, the placement of the Blend Door should be in the same difficult location. Hence the special ratchet tool that fits in the confined...
Pictures above show the cut down 8mm hex and full size 7mm hex. Both are needed for the project. The replacement Blend Door was purchased from Ford for about $45; and I think if you have an EL the part is different.
Notes from my replacement Project:

I took an 8mm hex from the Husky Set in photo...
Can Forscan be used to modify the lights so that the Daytime Running Lights come on automatically when the vehicle is started?
Any advice is appreciated.
Here is my Plati-Dip project. Gotta Say it did not go a well as I thought. Made some mistakes with the application and will try a second round of coating soon. That said, I still prefer this to the stock chrome. I also added "Tommy Mesh" which I really like.
If I could do it again, I would...
The Mesh installation was smooth, except for the removal of those Shark Teeth that were on my tabs. If I were to do it again, I would have probably just bought the $100 black grill. The Plasti-Dip has been a challenge and took 10 hours with wait times; and it still came out shotty.
Also...
Thank you Tommy: Here are the Before and After Photos of my "Tommy Mesh" Project. I also used Plasti-Dip to blackout the Grill, with mixed success (Still working on this). I went with a different light set up and wired the lights to my turn signals/running lights.
Looks like they now make a full Raptor Style Grill for Gen 3. May have to look into this. At $375 it is pricy, but I really like the look.
