I have to shallow mount 12's and an amp to install. I don't wanna take up all my cargo space with a ginormous box, because I use the cargo area quite a bit. Anyone got pics of some set ups that help retain the use of your cargo space?

in a first gen but you get the idea... plus they can fit behind the 3rd row seat too

whats the dimensions of the box? im going to build my self a new one when i get my new subs. they need 1.5cf. which is small compared to other subs. i'm making a custom box with the subs facing the back and ports firing upward. im just looking for dimensions so i know what i can fit back there.

My wife and I did her's out of MDF and fiberglass. We did lose a little room with this setup...especially since the box could have been smaller (less airspace).

BFD here is a vid of my system. you can see how the speaker sits in vid thats the usual spot for it but i can rotate it and have it fit behind third row.

look what i found! http://carjamz.com/zen/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=150_153_312 im getting this instead of making my own!

$154 shipped to my door. worth it? this is exactly what i wanted though! or theres this ebay one. $135 with free shipping. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EXPE...6032616QQptZCarQ5fAudioQ5fVideo#ht_2632wt_823 not sure its the same though. should i pay the extra $19 and get the one that i know is correct? o and im changing my subs. getting these. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17886_Crunch-GPV12D4.html i think im going all crunch on this build! crunch amps, subs, soon speakers, new JVC deck and Kicker cable! haha

I've never played with ported sub boxes... but I like your ebay find.... but its hard for me to justify buying a new box when my sealed on works good enough for me
