Random thought today. Instead of using a load distributing hitch to tow my toy hauler, and needing to buy spacers to get that 3" of lift I need, why not longer stiffer rear coils?
As we all know, the rear coils on these rigs are very soft, and sag a great deal under any real weight. Maybe some f-250 front coils?
Just sayin'

that could work. if they are 3 inches more then the stock ones. but if you want to tow a lot get air bags for towing.

No airbags for me. And thinking about this more, they don't have to be 3" longer. Because they will sag a lot less, the truck will sit further up in it's travel, so they could be maybe an inch taller, and still lift the truck.
Which begs another question: Would this mean less rear wheel travel or not?

In this pic, the right rear tire is literally stuffed into the wheelwell. A stiffer spring would work to limit this uptravel, but at the same time, the same rate spring would be pushing down on the other wheel. Seems it would even out, or not.
Input?

the stiffer the less flex you would have. but it still would be fine i would think. i know about that stuffage. i always flex out my rear end. the stiffer the less flex but at the right angle i think it would still stuff.
