I recently purchased an 04 EB 5.4. Here's some pics. Since I got it I've installed a 2" leveling kit, removed the running boards, had a flowmaster 40 installed, thanks to help from the forum, and changed my plugs and coil packs. and a set of 33" Cooper AT3's

Looks nice. I like that red. I can't take running boards off mine, wife is too short. In fact I hated to do it but I had to add running boards to my '98 F-150 because she couldn't get in and out of it.

Wish I could take running boards off but my doughter is still in a booster seat so I had too lower my steps lol

How 'bout nerf bar type boards ? I've found that not using the bars to climb up into the truck eventually wears out the corners and edges of the seats and carpet. Nerf bars don't look too bad either.
It's a nice looking Expy, it would be a shame to trash the seats.

I've actually been thinking about getting some tube steps like the nfab ones, just trying to figure out if I want to buy or build them, everybody hates getting into it but I love the look of not having the running boards
