Hello everyone, I have an 06 Ford Expedition 4wd with Blisten shocks and my front wheels are 4in and rear 7in. And I want to lower my vehicle with aftermarket lowering Springs at least the rear. Has anybody else had this problem with the rear being 7 inch gap between the the wheel well and Tire? Are my factory springs worn out @130,000 miles for being that stretched out? Also I have installed a sway bar on the rear, it's a Helwigs. Blisten shocks are very strong to make truck raise high like this. Installation was 2 years ago and still no change of leveling out. Any suggestions?20171127_081905.jpg 20171127_081800.jpg 20171127_081745.jpg 20171127_081852.jpg

Find a different shop. That is completely wrong. The spring is likely right, but the seat is definitely upside down. That explains your issue.

No.

Think about it. The seat upside down like it is now effectively makes the spring/shock assembly longer. Then it's multiplied by the angle of the lower arm, the one the shock bolts to.

That's just wrong. Like I said, find a different shop....shoot, I'm not a mechanic, but even I can change a shock...
