This is my first post, forgive me if in the wrong forum. I can’t see hardly at all while backing up in the dark not to mention the huge blind spots. I’m wanting to install a rear camera but they’re just too dull. Does anyone else think the same and what have you done to remedy it. So far I’ve just polished up the rear lens covers. They didn’t seem milky. I’ve actually considered installing a light, I don’t know how to wire it in for back up only. Would like to mount underneath the bumper. Would appreciate recommendations. Thank you.

WITH a camera:
Step 1) LED plate lights
Step 2) LED reverse lights
Pack of JDM Astar 194/168 lights will get you there
WITHOUT a camera:
Step 1) as above, but won't be enough with tint
Step 2) buy LED pods, drill the ends of the frame rail under the bumper (it's open ended so you can get a wrench in to tighten the nut to the mounts), install them and spice into backup lights in taillight or trailer connection
Step 3) blind spot mirror stickies or tow mirrors (help a lot, you can actually see your rear wheels for parallel parking and such)
PS you'll need GOOD drill bits to get through the rail. If you're using regular brands HSS or "titanium" yellows, BUY TWO, or you'll have to go back for more.
The LEDs pictures are JDM Astar (~$12 for 10), the pods are "Lightfox 4in 18watt" (~$14 for 2)... no issues with either
