When in 4hi I often get a clunking/jerking sound motion as if teeth on a gear are skipping. Surface was slush and light mud.

During same instance put it in 4lo and it never went into 4lo...tried it again a few min later and same.

As for the clunking/jerking, is it the t-case or are the locking hub actuators out to lunch?

Replacing wheel bearings this weekend so can take a look then. Dorman has the hub actuators cheap if I need them...

Can't complain with that show. I had mine last about 170k and replaced everything around 180-190. You will notice a huge difference when you do the overhaul.

If it wasn't already on the list, check the rear suspension as well. Basically the same setup as the front minus tie rods.

Everything is going poly, new struts all around, new ball joints all around, new wheel bearings, the works....Front springs will also be replaced when they finally come in.
