My '08 recently started having issues with the satellite radio reception. When I first start the vehicle I normally can get reception, but not always. It displays "acquiring" as if I went under a bridge, and the channel will go in & out. It will show the station name and song name though. I've tried pulling fuses and checked all the connections. My question is would the antenna be the issue? Through searches I have seen that some trucks (F-150s) in similar years has had issues with the antenna wires corroding over time, but haven't seen anything about it happening on the Expys.

I would assume it was happening to an F-150 could and will happen to an expedition and any other vehicle that has that same antenna system in it
