17 EL Exhaust

Find plenty of kits for the standard length. Anyone with an EL find a setup that works? Looking at doing the SPD downpipes and wonder if switching the manifolds out would be worth it as well. Already have S&B CAI and tune from 5 star. have a little over 2 years before my daughter turns 16 and will drive it.

Yep, cut off the very rear resonator chamber and keep everything else stock. Very noticeable difference on start up, no drone, and sounds perfect when you get on it. Zero rasp what so ever. I basically made it an axle dump.

Also, DPs are pointless unless you’re also doing an IC upgrade and full 3” exhaust. The only exhaust I would do is taking the stock muffler off, widening the inlet and outlet to 3” and running 3” pipe from the DP connection all the way back. I have heard Magnalfow, corsa, and SPD on 2016 expeditions and the only time they sound good is on start up. Everything else it’s just garbage.
