driver side window had had come loose from the metal clamps awhile back. My attempted repair failed. Left the window up until I could do a proper repair(suggestions welcome on that one).

Yesterday the window was lowered by mistake . I found the track that mounts to the glass clamps on the bottom of the door and the glass had stopped on the ball studs of the "X" regulator arms. Seems the tracks plastic guides popped off the ball studs that are rivited to the X member.

Unable to pop the plastic guides back on the ball studs. Appears to me the plastic guides went on the studs prior to the studs being mounted to the "X" arms. That makes no sense to me, but looking at the studs they are ground flat on the outer side to be flush with the plastic guides. Any clue on how to get them back on? Or do I need to buy a new "X" arm assembly with the plastic guides installed?

i just did the repair like 3 weeks ago, you have to get the new regulator, its like 40 bucks at muarrys, the balls go on the plastic squares and those go in the track where the clamps are. the squares slide on the guide to put the window up and down. by the wat unless whoever you get done up by quotes you a hundred for everyting including parts, do it yourself, tons of fun lol

Got a new regulator at autozone 40.00 put that in today. Bought replacemnet clamps for the window, along with some no sand urathane from a auto glass place.(25.00)

Rivited the regulator in,(knew I'd get to use that huge riviting tool I bought a few years back), cleaned the glass and was ready to adhere the clamps. Couldn't find my caulk gun. Must have 10 of the dame things. Raining here anyway, Get it done tomorrow. Thanks for the help
