Need help! - I have a 2000 xlt that randomly shuts off or stalls --- mainly when turning left. I had 2 dealer look at it with no resolve. One did replace a sensor but it did not fix the problem (I do not remember which one). In the past year I have replaced the fuel pump sending unit, and a #5 coil wire both sem to be common problems. Anyone run into this? I am thinking electrical, maybe a wire is shorting out when shifted to the left...

Yes. I can quickly shift it into Neutral and restart. The steering wheel is already off center a quarter turn as I am in the process of turning.

check the wires in the rear of the left front wheel well. there is a large bundle of wires that run along the frame that can get hit and damaged. oversize tires can make this more common.

+ 1 on CARO'S98EB. But here's a shot you may want yo try. Have you checked at your MAF. Stalling when clutch in is common problem from MAF.
