2000 to 03 Conversion

exia i gotta ask you something i see in ur upgrade list you have "Procharger 5.4L 3V HO Supercharger kit ( Ordered )" are you swapping engines because as far as i know up until 03 they were only 2 valve not 3 valve

In the expedition, the 3v didn't start until 05

i can't believe i forgot about 402 motoring. one of the best builds on this site. he is not on here much but he has done some of the best work i have seen a gen 1.

Well when I looked up the specs " said to fit 97 to 01 Ford Expedition 5.4 " along with many other model & year pick ups, & suvs

As far as the motor, I am buying my friends 5.4 from his 2000 Lightning minus the charger has minor mods and has 53k ( FYI Douche... Oh I mean ***** ) But I was concerned about the 3V myself but, but he also said should work on the 2v if it had the 2000 on the applicants which it did.. But 100% it fits the lightning motor. But since I only paid 1200 from ebay. I cant complain, worse case it dont, Best is I can double my money. Or trade for one that fits

To quote 402motoring about the swap....

"Yes they pretty much line up but the 03' to 06 use a large lower mldg that I did not want to add to the rest of the truck. So all those holes had to be welded up and smoothed to replicate the look of a 99 fender. We're also going to have to deal with the front bumper mounting brackets that are welded to the frame sine the 03 uses a different bumper reinforcement. I'll most likely have to cut off the 99 ones and weld on the 03-06 version. Not a big deal for us but if you have to pay someone to do this for you its going to get pretty expensive."

Dude, WTF? Either your jealous of someone thinking out of the box, or just a troll! Or both!! May not be your thing, but who gives a crap. I think the front clip idea is pretty cool, and I'm sure you would like a little more power under the hood yourself. It's not affecting you in any way so lay off. And I'm sure I speak for many others here too. I usually don't get involved in the petty crap on forums, but this one begged for a comment.
BTW, in looking at all your posts (all 13 of them), all but 1 was an insult. It seems like you just like to waste your and all the rest of our time. Do we have an ignore button on this site?

As far as my conversion idea, I am down to 2 ways of doing it, I buy the whole stock front clip for $250.. Or I go with a fiberglass Body kit i.e Front bumper, fenders. etc etc for $480. Fiberglass is for me anyway easier to mold and mount.. This is the bumper I was thinking of

That's a nice bumper..but for 3rd Gen starting at 07"...thought u wanted 03"? But that would TOTALLY out the box if u did that...mold it for one piece look!!!

I do, but after seeing that bumper design but said it fits 03 to 06.... Let me re-clarify.. I basicly want the 03+ look/style now as far as that bumper, the entire kit is a 6pc urethane kit.. which the whole kit is 600+ but I dont think I want to go that hardcore with it. But will upload pics and get everyones take on it

At this point I know either way I go its going to require lots of work but do I order a kit that doesnt have any prefab holes for screws etc etc or do I go completely stock.
