My 2003 ford expedition has no power AT ALL... No alarm, no door lights, no break lights (or any type of light for that matter) no horn, NOTHING.
When I use my key (sound weird but I never use the key I have the remote alarm thing that opens the doors) to get inside and then I turn the ignition switch on nothing happens… dials stay the same, no dash board lights, no power, no windows, no air, no battery warning light or check engine or any one of those lights that usually come on, NOTHING.
When I turn the ignition all the way to start the vehicle again nothing happens… Neither sight nor sound (and it is very quiet now). Couple of months ago I replaced the battery for a supposed to be new battery in the local ford dealership…
I left my lap top plugged in the cigarette lighter which might have completely drained the battery but from past experience even when battery was low there is some kind of power…
Does anyone have any information that could be useful?
Is the battery the cause of the problem or something else?
Thanks
