2005 Questions

Hello everyone. I have a 2005 Limited with 58000 miles on it. She is running great and am looking forward to camping season again.

Anyway I have a few questions/problems:

1st: I would like to replace the factory head unit with something better but do NOT want to replace factory speakers or factory sub (I actually like how it sounds). If i do so will I lose sound quality?
I am looking to put in a nice double din unit with bluetooth, iPod control, etc.

2nd: I have the factory heated and cooled seats, the drivers side does not seem to be working but the light stays on and I can hear the little motor running. Any ideas on the problem and possible fix?

3rd. Lastly i developed a loud squeak in the far back this winter, it seems to be coming from the rear hatch or one of the side panels but it only occurs when its cold. I've tried to pinpoint the area but wondering if anyone else has had this issue or might know where it is coming from?

These are the only minor issues I've had over the last 7 years!

If you get a good HU to put in, your quality should increase. Is the heat or a/c not working on the seat?

for the 1st question you have...you can put anything in there...try crutchfield.com and "outfit your car"...it'll show everything you can put in there...anything DDIN will work...and you dont have to change any speakers...

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I'll be adding a new HU soon!

As far as the seat goes... Yes everything seems to be running but it's not heating or cooling? Don't really want to spend the $$ and have the stealership look at it!
