2006 expedition side view mirrors upgrade

New member and would appreciate all the help I can get. I wanted to upgrade my side view mirrors to Eddie Bauer mirrors from and 05. I’m not interested in the heated portion I just want the blinker portion and puddle light. Has anyone done this upgrade? If so is it just ply and play? Are the connectors the same? Before I start removing door panels and removing screws I would like to know if it’s worth the hassle. Thank you in advance

It looks like the mirrors have a 16 pin connector. Whether on not your car has every option populated in the harness is anyones guess. You may find only four wires on your XLT. Up and down and in and out. Please inspect the door harness.
