2007 Expedition Steering intermittent anomaly

Problem:

Power steering works perfect sometimes.

Then other times, it feels like it catches when rotating the wheel. Like the power steering is intermittantly working during the rotation.

I thought at first it was a correded steering shaft. But, sometimes it works just fine. Speed is not a factor. Happens at all speeds.

Earlier in the the year, my Traction control light would pop up, like it was not working.

I was reading about a steering wheel position sensor.

Anyone else have any issues with this?

It seems like it is a electrical / ABS / Advancetrac RSC.

Thoughts?

so....apparently, no one else has this issue....

Expeditions...... If only the competition made something like it.

Fold flat third row seat. 4 wheel independent suspension.

And the new Suburbans are butt-a55 ugly....
