OK Wonderful folks out there, maybe someone's had the same issue I just had this past Easter Sunday (3/27/2016). My better half and I visited the Grand Canyone Easter weekend and everything went very well. It was our maident camping trip with a new (used) TT. We had once before in 2010 with same vehicle towed a 28' Toy Hauler from Phoenix to the Mt. Rushmore and had absolutely no issues, Expy ran great and pulled the 28' without issue (other than not as good MPG). So coming back from the Grand Canyon on Saturday (not pulling the TT), the engine was making a pretty loud ticking noise like a lifter or something. I didn't hear this until we were back at camp so I immediately checked the oil and it was right where it should be. Checked again Sunday morning before heading back to Phoenix and it was right up there where it should be. When we stopped for gas about 30 miles into our return trip, the noise didn't seem to be so loud, but I checked oil again and it was still good. About 40 miles or so south of Flagstaff, AZ the Oil Can Lamp came on and we were coming to an exit and decided to turn around to get back to Munds Park, AZ or even Flagstaff but on the off ramp, the car died and would not start again. It wouldn't even turn over. We trailered it home (about 100 miles) and it's now going to my mechanic tonight. I tried yesterday to jump the battery from our other car and no difference, it doesn't even seem to want to turn over. Sorry for the novel, wanted to give all the information I could to see if anyone else has had this issue. Your replies will be very appreciated. Thank you all in advance. Don

Put a breaker bar and socket on the harmonic balancer bolt and see if you can turn the engine clockwise when looking at the engine from the front.

If it turns then it may not be bad, if it doesn't then go buy a 1/2 keg and enjoy yourself since the engine will be seized up. Big bucks unless you can rebuild it yourself.

Scan for codes?

I am assuming you have a check engine light?

Scan it and post your findings.

We would just be guessing without some solid info.
