    Looks like Running Boards are done the same way that auto-locks are done, via the Message Center/Setup button on the dash.

    Because I'm 6'8" tall, I have no need to use them, and every time I get out of the Expedition, I scrape the back of my ankle on them. They're in the way, and now that I've figured out how to permanently stow them, I'm happy.

    That makes sense, I'm 6' 1" and they help a little but I could do without them.

    Now if only there was a way to disable the TPMS system, I'd be a happy camper!
