I posted back in May about this (https://www.expeditionforum.com/threads/suspension-upgrade-no-air-ride.55886/) but I've neglected addressing my comfort issues, and needed some more clarity.
I'm not specifically opposed to the Rancho QuickLift Strut/Spring combos, but if my truck has struts, what exactly is the application for the Bilstein B6 4600 shocks that RockAuto and others claim fits my truck?
The two options I'm looking at are either Rancho QuickLifts all the way around, or Moog constant rate springs coupled with the aforementioned Bilstein shocks.
My major confusion is, I didn't think struts and shocks were interchangeable, so what am I missing or overlooking?
I suppose Monroe Quick-Struts might also be an option, too.
Please help educate me.
