The 2012's must not have had the indash trailer brake controller? According to the window sticker it has the hd trailer towing package...

Look... bring a check already made out to the dealer for your down payment.

Offer 16k w your own financing NOT theirs. Let them take possession of your check!

It will strain them to give it back if they don’t meet your price.

Start hemming and hawing and ask for your check back as you slowly begin to stand up.

If by any chance they let you walk out the door, hang out by your car on your cell phone or talking to whoever is with you for around 10 minutes.

My bet is they make a counter offer very close to your offer of $16k. At that point you can decide what to do.

If you go into that dealer unwilling to walk away you will most definitely over pay.
