One year ago I purchased a 2013 Expy Limited Flex Fuel 4wd with 139k miles for $7500. Previous to that I drove Honda Odysseys which I valued for the comfortable ride, spacious passenger/cargo capacity, and fold down 3rd row seat. I loved those Odys but they were front wheel drive and I wanted similar features but with AWD or 4wd which led me to the Expy.

I looked at used 2nd-5th gen Expys but chose the 2013 3rd gen because it had everything I wanted in a vehicle incl. tow package and roof rack, that model rated as very reliable and I loved the look of the 3rd gen.
1 year later and I LOVE THIS BEAST! I can't believe how awesome it is in every kind of weather and every type of driving circumstance...whether hauling my boat, or 7 people loaded with gear. I don't even care that it avgs. 15mpg city/hwy driving. I'm going to drive this until it hits 300k miles and enjoy every mile!
Thanks Ford!

90+k on my 2014 and it’s still the beast. We tow a 4000# trailer and it does the job just fine.

My '11 EL is nearing EOL and I have looked at several CUVs as replacements. Ultimately though, I think I will end up with another Expedition. I really love this truck and nothing else I've driven compares for me.
