2015 expedition el A/C

Anybody had problems with the A/C connections under the passenger dash? My 2015 A/C will stop blowing sometimes after the wires have been touched/moved a bit by passenger feet, bags, etc. I read where I think the purple wire sometimes comes loose from that connection, not sure if thats correct or not.

There are known issues with the harness. Ford sells a part to redo the wiring. Just ensure you get actual Ford parts and change the resistor it plugs into at the same time those are usually fried a bit. I think the exact parts have been discussed here before.

ditto on what you said. Use OEM on both the resistor and the new connection. 1 cable is smaller than the rest and it's OK. Just bringing it up because I was wondering myself. Also make sure you get the right one. There's 1 for manual AC and Auto AC.

Yep, thats what worked for mine. I only changed that part.

Just did this to my ‘15 yesterday after having intermittent blower issues for the last couple of months. Works like a charm now.
