2015 Reverse camera with chrome trim install on a 2007?

Has anyone installed a reverse camera with chrome trim from a 2015 on to a 2007?

I’m going to be repainting the liftgate pretty soon due to paint peeling. I came across a deal for a chrome trim with camera from a 2015 Expedition. I’m curious if anyone has ever done this install and what would be needed?

That long 2015 panel will require numerous holes be drilled into on your 2007 liftgate. So would recommend you make some sort of template before breaking out the drill. Measure 11 times, drill once. Alternatively I suppose one could break off most/all of the mounting clips and improvise with adhesive of some sort.

I looked but can't find it, but I was almost certain that user gixer2000 installed the same panel on his similar year Expedition. Maybe drop him a line?
