2019 Expedition Rt rear inside vehicle heater.

Hello new to the forum. My daughter just got a used Exp, under the Rt rear wheel is the heater and she told me about so I turned on the rear heat high is it goes and the wheel well plastic cooled off. I beginning to think that she may have blocked the vent at the bottom of the plastic wheel well cover (inside the truck)not allowing the hot air to escape. Was just asking if anyone had a similar experience? Thanks in advance....G
