Here are some of the major changes I noticed:

King Ranch model
Platinum gets more leather wrapped pieces, aluminum scuff plate on rear doors, Console side rails?
XLT gets 2nd row bucket option, RES,
FX4 available on Limited, 360 Package
Black accent package for XLT, new wheels
New wheels (no image) for the King Ranch, looks the same as Platinum w/ different caps
Platinum wheels now say painted, not polished (description looks similar to the 2018 Limited wheels)
New colors... looks like Platinum isn't available in Silver anymore.

Star White vs White Platinum... wonder how much of a difference there is? I know the 2020 Explorer is available in Star White already.

well that's highly frustrating. there was nothing on the web about the king rang coming back. i jumped the gun too soon! I'll be interested to see if it has all the bells and whistles automatically or if you've gotta shop around a lot like the limited to get it to be the same as the platinum... can't wait to see what one looks like!

Looks like they are adding stand alone options on the XLT for the rear captains chairs and the RES. It also sounds like they are offering several different 20" wheel options on the XLT. I would have seriously considered an XLT at the time I bought my Limited if the rear captains chairs had been available in the XLT. Now we just need them to offer the LED headlights as an option on the XLT!

Looks like lots of paint color changes for the 2020 Expedition. Looks like Silver Spruce only lasted a year with the 2019 Expedition, which is surprising. I assume these paint colors will also be changed on the Super Duty since they're both made at the Kentucky Truck Plant.

New Paint — Burgundy Velvet Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (R3) — Desert Gold1 (G6) — Iconic Silver1 (JS) — Rapid Red Metallic Tri-Coat (D4) — Star White Metallic Tri-Coat (AZ) ●

Deleted Paint — Ingot Silver — Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat — Silver Spruce — Stone Gray — White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat

Carry-over Paint colors - Blue - Magnetic - Agate Black - Oxford White

I was disappointed they didn't have the dark Denim Blue you sr on Ford trucks (or like Rhapsody Blue Lincoln has).
Well, it looks like my Ruby Red is gone though.

Hopefully those pics aren't gigantic on a PC... They look decent on my phone ha.

So the 2019 Superduty is White Platinum, 2020 Explorer is Star White, and in the last pic there is a 2019 Explorer that is Oxford White.

A salesman was nice enough to help me get some decent comparison pics. I've also got some close ups, but to me at least, the Star White is definitely more white than the White Platinum.

Reminds me of shopping for house paint at Home Depot where there are 25 colors of white! It does make you wonder what causes car companies to change a subtle thing like the colors of white paint that they offer. I assume there are cost considerations, finish durability, environmental requirements, ease of application by the spray equipment at the factory, etc, etc.
