2021 Rear Glass Keeps Opening

Just 100 miles on a 2021 XLT. Opened the rear glass yesterday and now it randomly keeps opening. Button doesn’t seem stuck.

Is there some random button somewhere other than next to the camera I’m missing that could be stuck?

Is there any chance you hit the glass button instead of the trunk when you try to open your trunk?

I don’t think i do. The button for the glass is up by the backup camera and the button for the truck/tailgate (whichever you call it) is down lower. Is there some other button I’m missing?

And by random i mean every 5 seconds or so. It does it about 5 or 6 times then seems to stop

Try pushing harder to close it. I had similar problem early on thinking it latched closed, but did not. Wasn’t locked for first four days.

I’m hearing the latch cycle though like the button is being pushed

but i will try to pressure it shut more. Maybe it’s just the weather seals being new

Just don't close it too hard, you might break the defroster cables off.

Ugh those things. Came from a 2016 Denali and had the same problem.
