I just want to better understand the difference between this and the expy muffler, it's far harder to convert the expy single 3" design to a dual 2-5/8" design or whatever diameter it is. It also seems insane that no other aftermarket muffler can reduce drone and in cabin noise like these can, i've tried many.
Yup, I tried a bunch of different mufflers & configurations & the drone was terrible.

Persnickety drone harmonics on this motor.

Now, each bank runs by itself down to the navigator flex pipes, (which incorporates a factory dampening device) to the dual-in-dual-out navigator muffler & Siamese dual over axle to dual-in-dual-out navigator rear resonator. It’s loud enough on start up & no drone anywhere & flows great with the big turbos. I feel that it is in no way inhibiting power output, because the two pipes are equal to 1 pipe @ 3-3/4” diameter.

I wonder how many million dollars $$ ford spent designing this Lincoln muffler?

It’s everything they told me a muffler Could Not be: good flowing & quiet!

It’s a free flowing,
no packing,
reverse flow on one tube,
multi-hemholtz-chambered & valved on the exit pipes!

Quite a marvel of engineering.

will adding Borla or other manufacture exhaust improve or reduce the performance of the Expedition Timberland because the engine is tune with the OEM exhaust to produce 440 horsepower
