Anyone running upsized 24 inch wiper blades on their 4th gen? Just want to know if they work properly and are worth the upsize over the factory 22s. Specifically Bosch Icons if anyone has any experience? Thank you!

If I were here, you would know it !
I typically get blades that are 1" bigger than the spec says, just because I prefer to have them wipe a little more of the glass than the shorter ones do, but maybe that's just me :)

Whether that will work on your Expy depends on how much extra clearance, if any, there is at the top & bottom of the windshield..

And I have used Bosch Icons many times on many vehicles nottaproblemo, but only when I catch them on sale or with a coupon code, since they are typically a good bit more $$ than most other brands...

I've never thought to run longer blades, but I also use the Bosch ones. I'm at nearly 3 years on this set (Nov '21 purchased them) and now they are starting to show some wear. This makes up for the extra cost.

Yes, 23's work great on the 4th Gen. Have run Icons on our 2020 since about a month into owning it. Been using 23's the whole time. As far as 24's, take a look at the wipe pattern and give it a try.

I did think the 22s were quite small, when I first replaced them.
That was the first thing I did, when I bought the Expy with 50k miles pre-owned, change the "garbage/bargain basement" wire frame wipers and replace them with the airfoil shaped Bosch Icons. What a huge difference in wiping and overall look. I might try the 23' on the left arm, when I replace them next year. We get a lot of ice, and that chews up the blades.

Never thought to upsize, sounds like a good idea. Now I just have to remember to do that next time I replace mine. Wish me luck with that, current ones are only a month old.

Here's a pic of mine. Because it's still filthy from the drive out to the country, you can see the clean spots where the 22" wiped and how much past that the 24" extend. I haven't turned on the wipers with the 24" yet. Plenty of room. You could probably get away with 26" blades if you really wanted to considering how much extra room there is between the 22" wipe path and the body.

What'd you do for the rear wiper blade?
I haven't decided what I'm gonna do with that. I've toyed with 3D printing some sort of landing lever that pops the blade arm away from the glass when it returns to home so it doesn't serve as a shelf for dust and dirt. It could be quite a bit longer, too, methinks. Looking at the thing, it's likely the same spline mount as older vehicles, so might be able to find one that has a more traditional arm on it allowing for generic blades instead of that flimsy plastic thing that's on it now.

Has anyone tried to install a larger rear wiper blade on their Expy? My wife's 2019 Edge has a larger blade than the Expy, yet, the Expy has a larger rear window. What I noticed is the blade arm on the Edge and the Expy are identical in size, but the location of the blade itself is centered to the arm of the Expy while it is towards the end of the Edge arm. The breadth of window cleared on the Edge is so much larger than on the EXpy. Why have a smaller blade on a larger rear window?
