So found a set of brand-new (still had little rubber nubbies) '25 Ford Expy Tremor take-off wheels shoed with General Grabber A/T 275/70 R 18 tires and TPMS (guy didn't like the orange accents on the wheels). Going to have them powder-coated gloss black and use them as a winter/off-pavement set for my '24 Expedition Max Stealth Performance Package HD Tow CCD ride. Should be direct bolt-on, right? Need to get into Forescan to change wheel size. Any other considerations?

Those tires are 1.1" taller than stock

285/45r22 = 32.10" tall
275/79r18 = 33.16" tall

I would change the speedo when I changed wheels if it were me.

I know the Tremor has a mild lift and unique suspension from the factory to accommodate the 33" tires. could be some clearance issues, not sure how well the 22s fill the wheel wells on your 24.

I think a regular 4th gen Expedition (exception Tremor or Timberline Expeditions) have a ground clearance of 9.8”. Put that bigger tire on there and add 0.5”, you are already at 10.3” of ground clearance. The new 5th gen is at least an inch lower than the 4th gen.

I think you meant 275/70/R18.

The 25 Tremor has 10.6" of ground clearance and is almost an inch taller than the other trims. I don't know how the 24 Expeditions were stacked. the biggest question is whether the 33s will rub on a 24. Is the 2024 Timberline lifted at all compared to the other trims? If so he's probably fine.

Question - turns out, I need to order TPMS for all four wheels. Any idea as to Ford part #? Specific to the wheel or model year?

I got the TPMS and have been running these wheels/tires since shortly after the last post; they came with General Grabber A/T tires and I love them! They bolted right up and no clearance issues/rubbing. Don't think I'll ever put the 22" back on as the ride with the 18" is so much better.

Question - anyone happen to know what might be the largest (similar A/T) tire I can mount without rubbing/trimming? I have NOT done any lift/suspension mods yet. TIA!

I asked Grok about it and it spat out this chart.

What you think about the noise for those tires inside the Expedition; do you notice it with the windows up?
